Either Nobel Laureate Dr Mohammad Yunus or Grameen Bank are yet to be included in tour schedule of US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, who is set to arrive in Dhaka on May 5. A responsible source informed banglanews that Dr. Yunus became not only unhappy but also surprise in this regard. Besides, the Nobel laureate left for home on Friday night after a three-day visit in New York and Chicago.
A close source of Dr. Yunus informed that he usually expected that a schedule would fix for him and also Grameen Bank with Hillary during her Dhaka tour. Communication between the two ends is yet to be made ahead of her visit, sources added. Earlier, Dr. Yunus made a courtesy call on former US president Bill Clinton at New York on Thursday, the source added.
